Shayne Cox, a BJJ Black Belt and long time student of Auckland Associate Michael Gent, has embraced BJJ and incorporated it into his current training structure to great effect.

Shayne has taken his Twin City Martial Arts club in Napier to extraordinary growth using his skills as a martial artist and coach. Shayne regularly hosts John Will when he travels though the country and hungers for every new bit of information that only John can provide.

As a result Shayne’s passion for BJJ has grown and continues to flourish. Shayne is also an avid competitor and has, for the last few years, travelled to Australia for the Will/Machado National championships to compete and test his skills with the best Australia and New Zealand has to offer.
